www.foxtailcomics.com is up and running!  Hopefully this year I will be able to get actual pages up on the specific comics I want to write.  Here's to a kickass year!

Revamped my site:  www.thefoxtail.com and am in the process of adding all my poetry there, and a lot more than what is found here, separated by years.

On Tuesday I had to make one of the hardest decisions I've ever made.  I put my oldest cat to sleep.  He had been in my care for about 9 years, from my sister-in-law.  He was my buddy and put up with my crap.  Today's newest poem is a follow-up to one I wrote many years ago when my first cat had passed away.  It is much quieter without him begging for his food sitting there while I would lie in my bed about to get up.  He was softly meow at me until I would get up and provide fresh food.  I love you Beepers and I hope you can forgive me for having to make that choice.  At least I got to say my good-bye instead of coming home to finding him gone.  Be at peace and I hope I'll get to be with you again.

Only a handful of illustrations left and I can proceed with the next step for my book.  I can only hope it fares better than my current expectations.

It's been two years since I last posted here.  I usually keep more updated on my facebook account than here, but since I just changed my Featured Deviation thought I would update the journal as well.  Since my brother's passing a lot has gone on and though he is still very missed I know he's in a better place now, and one day I will see him again.

Valentine's Day has always been like a rose to me.  It should be a beautiful day to share the love that one has for his/her significant other, but it's also been a day to share the love that a person has to anyone that has blessed their lives.  That person for me has always been my best friend,


The poem is true in every aspect.  Without him I don't know where I would be.  Without him I'd still have a void where my heart now is, with the exception it no longer belongs to me; it belongs to him.  I have had the wonderful opportunity to have known him for over 11 years, and hope that the years will keep coming.

Take the time this Valentine's Day not only to profess the love you have for your significant other, but also to those that have truly impacted your life with their unconditional love.
